The spray is designed to protect welding torches against spatter during MIG / MAG arc welding. Before applying the product, it is necessary to mechanically remove impurities from the gas nozzle and jet tip area using suitable tools (mechanical nozzle cleaners, cleaning pliers for welders) and then apply the product to this area.
We apply the product in such an amount that a continuous film is formed on the surface of the gas nozzle, the current tip holder and the current tip, but that the excess product does not run off from the torch to the workplace or weldment. When applying the product, do not hold the burner with the mouth of the gas nozzle vertically upwards, so that the product does not flow into the holes in the current tip holder through which the shielding gas passes and thus clog them.
In part, the product can also be used to protect the weldment against spatter in the immediate vicinity of the weld, but greasy residues of the product may remain on the weldment after welding, which may adversely affect the quality of subsequent surface treatments. For this reason, the product must always be applied in such a way that the excess product flowing out of the torch does not accidentally hit the weldment.
The spray is silicone-free.
