Self-darkening welding helmet Alfa In S9B Fast Shark is designed to
protect the eyes and face from sparks, metal spatter and dangerous
radiation that arise during welding, metal cutting scares, dangerous
radiation. Suitable for all arc welding methods. Thanks to 4 sensors,
low reaction time and blackout level from DIN 4, it is especially
suitable for professional TIG welding.
The S9B self-dimming helmet cartridge uses a unique optical technology that ensures ideal color, high sharpness and resolution.
At
the moment the arc is ignited, the self-dimming clone in the visor of
the hood darkens in just 1/30,000 seconds (0.000033 seconds). After
welding, the clone automatically bulk to DIN 3.5. The lightening time
after the arc goes out can be continuously adjusted with the DELAY
potentiometer on the inside of the cassette in the range of 0.3 - 0.9
seconds. Correct delay setting is important, for example, when scoring
or moving.
The other controls are also on the inside of the
cartridge. The SHADE potentiometer can be used to set the blackout level
in the DIN 4 - 13 range, depending on the welding method and the
welding current. The SENSITIVITY potentiometer can be used to
continuously adjust the sensitivity of the optical sensors depending on
the ambient light conditions (dark environment - lower sensitivity,
bright environment - higher sensitivity).
The hood also
allows you to set the WELDING or GRINDING mode. The welding mode is
divided into 2 levels: DIN 4 - 8 and DIN 9 - 13. In the grinding mode,
the optical sensors do not respond and the hood is still in a bright
state.
The hood is powered by a solar cell and CR2450 batteries, which can be easily replaced at the end of its life.
