Welding electrodes BÖHLER UTP DUR 600 - 3,2 mm - 5,8 kg

Properties and use

UTP DUR 600 is a basic electrode designed for universal armor of structural steel parts, cast steels and mn steels. The weld resists the abrasion, pressure and shocks. The main use is for mountain transport parts, eg The electrode is also suitable for the renovation of surfaces and cutting edges of cold workers.

UTP DUR 600 has excellent welding properties - a quiet arc, even decay, good weld drawing and easily removable slag. Packaging is only possible by grinding.

If possible, a perpendicular conduit and brief arc is recommended. Massive parts and high strength steel preheat to 200 - 300 ° C. Weld it with cold mn, temperature must not exceed 250 ° C, possibly cool. When armor of prone to cracking parts, UTP 630 electrode for the interlayer is recommended for the interlayer, as well as cracks in the surface under the ward. In need of welding more than 3-4 layers, it is appropriate to fill in softer types of electrodes - eg UTP DUR 250 or UTP DUR 350.
