GAMA 150L is a lightweight compact, portable welding machine for MMA and TIG non-melting tungsten electrode welding in a protective atmosphere with a LIFT ARC touch start. The ideal characteristics of the welding arc of this machine will be appreciated even by the most demanding users when welding with a coated electrode. The machine welds very well even when powered by a power plant or via extension cables up to 200 m long with a cross-section of 2.5 mm2 and when the mains voltage drops by up to 40%. The equipment for the MMA method consists of the following functions:
- HOT START = for easier ignition of the coated electrode
- ANTISTICK = prevents the coated electrode from sticking (can be switched off for drying the electrodes or grooving)
- ARC FORCE = possibility to set the stability of the arc
- SOFT START = helps against circuit breakers falling out and burning weak materials during start-up by gradually increasing the current.
- V.R.D. = safe voltage at rest (15V)
The equipment for the TIG method consists of the following functions:
- LIFT ARC = tactile ignition of the welding arc with low tungsten electrode wear
- DOWN SLOPE = crater filling at the end of the weld (welding current decreases at the set time to the required value) is activated by moving the torch 8-10 mm, while the beginning of the crater filling time is acoustically signaled.
- TIG PULSE = possibility to set welding current pulsation frequency (1-500Hz)
The set parameters are signaled by LEDs and displayed on a clear display.
